TEE TIME

Thursday, Clint surprised Owen and I with taking a little time off work and taking us golfing. Owen love being out there with dad, and loved golfing! They had so much fun they decided to go back to the driving range on Friday, this time no girls were allowed!

LA TRIP

A couple of weeks ago Clint and I went to LA all ALONE! We dropped our kids off up North with family and then flew out to LA for 4 days of fun. We went down there to watch the World Baseball Classic. We had so much fun. We watched 3 differnt games. I have to say this trip turned me into a true Baseball fan. I loved being at the stadium, eating Dodger Dogs and Cracker Jacks, and hanging out with my hubby.

We spent a couple of hours one of the days before the game at Universal Studios. Our hotel was across the street so we ran over there and hit all the things we wanted to see there in a couple of hours.

OUR BUSY WEEK

Tatumn's class program on Utah's History. Her custume is so funny. We made it the night before. We went to Walmart and stood there like Idiots asking the worker how much fabric we needed. Then came home and glued it together. Yes I am very crafty! ;)

Tatumn's school choir sang at the Grand Opening of Walmart! Does that officially make me white thrash for watching a ribbon cutting of Walmart?

We went to St. George to watch our nephew Colton play baseball. Owen loved watching and yelling when Colton was up to bat. No pics. of Tate down there she was to busy running around with her cousins!

Valentines Day

Clint really spoiled me this year on Valentines Day. The week of the big day he sent me 6 roses everyday for four days and then on Friday had a dozen sent. That day he also gave me a gift card and some Chocolate covered Strawberries. He took me to dinner and had even called the sitter. Compared to all that my gift sucked!

MY FUNNY BOY

Owen says the funniest things. On Sunday in his Primary Class, they were talking about when Jesus was born. Owen raises his hand and informs the class that "Jesus Christ was born in a chocolate factory" Luckily his teachers think he is cute and know that we have taught him the right stuff at home.

Owens favorite thing in the morning and night is to snuggle. He tells me everyday that I am the best snuggler in town. But my favorite is when he tells me I make the best dinner ever! I could have made him easy mac, and still he says it. He sure knows how to melt my heart and redeem himself from the days mischief!

MY BIG SUNBEAM

Owen had his first day as a sunbeam last week. He sat in his chair and raised his hand! Way to go big boy. We love how big you are getting.

CHRISTMAS UNWRAPPED

We had the best Christmas ever! It has been so nice to have Tate home from school. Her and Owen have played great together giving me lots of time to get closets cleaned out and reorganized. Every year on Christmas Eve we get out the video camera and watch all our videos of the year and lots of old ones. I can't believe how much my kids change from year to year. That night we open new pjs and read from the Bible. This year Grandma and Grandpa Wood came down and spent the night. It was great to have them here for Christmas morning.

Owen and Tatumn went to bed surprising early. We couldn't believe that they went up and right to sleep. But they did. Tatumn woke up at 4:00 and was reading by the night light. We told her to go back to be till 7:00. Owen was so excited and couldn't wait to go down stairs and see what Santa had left out.

After seeing what Santa had left we opened presents. Clint got me a lot of odds and ends. He picked out great clothes this year. He really spoils me. After all of us were done Clint had me close my eyes for one last surprise. He had gotten me a new Lap Top. I still can't believe it. We had the best day ever just hanging out all day in our pjs and playing together as a family.

Tatumn's New Hobby

Those of you who know Tatumn well now of her love of reading. She tells me things about people and about 10 mins later I realize I've never heard of this person and I find out it's someone out of her latest book. I my point in telling all this is her new hobby. About 8 months ago Tatumn read a book where one of the characters fenced. So she has begged since then to take Fencing Classes. I thought it was a something she would forget about. Well she has been so persistent that we finally found classes in Orem and signed her up. I thought she would hate it. Tatumn is a soft hearted girl and very much a drama queen. But she has love it!

TATUMN IS DOUBLE DIGITS

Tatumn's Birthday was on the 9th. She was so excited to turn 10. All day she kept telling everyone that she is now double digits. She wanted to go and eat at Olive Garden and then to Build A Bear. Olive Garden was quite an experince. Owen slid on the rolling chairs and fell to the floor, in the process taking my drink and spilling it in my lap. Then he faked sick and we spent 5 mins. in the bathroom until he decided that he felt good again. I got sick that night and spent the next 2days sick in bed. I had to miss going up north to her little party with the grandparents.
I was kinda sad to think she is so big that she is picking to eat at nice places instead of just the golden arches. This last year she has really started to grow up. She is turning into a great babysitter. She still loves to read, but we are now at the point that she doesn't think mom and dad are the smartest people in the world. Tatumn is turning into my best friend as we share books and shopping and music. Happy Birthday Baby!!! I love everything you are becoming and everything you already are!

My Baby is a Big Boy!

So I am the worst mom. Owen's birthday is on Sept. 11th and I am just now posting the pics. His birthday was so fun we celebrated as a family on the 11th and then had the whole family at Chuck E Cheese on the 13th. It was the best day. Most of our family made the trek down for the party! Owen loved it and still cries everyday for his Birthday. I just wanted to tell some of Owen's cute things, so you'll all know why we love him!

The other day after Owen's bath he comes downstairs with his towel around him and asks clint, "Dad wanna see my new costume?" Clint says yes and Owen drops his towel and yells "TA Da Da I'm a naked Power Ranger"

When Owen is in time out and yells at me "Mom I'm not gonna play Baseball with you now!"

Owen loves to tell me "that's not the point"

Or when I am trying to explain something and he says "what you say?"

Owen is my Devil and My Angel. He is so sweet and every morning and night wants to NUGGLE. But Boy he is naughty and can charm anyone out of anything. He really knows when to just smile.

State Fair

We met some of our friends at the State Fair. We had the best time. Our kids loved the rides, and I loved the food!

First Day of School

Last Monday Tatumn started school again. But this time it was as a big girl. She now tells me how her hair has to be done and wears jewerly to match her outfit. She also has been wearing contacts for the last 3 weeks and looks so old. I can't believe she is so big and girly!

The End Of A Busy Summer

This last month has been crazy. So I will overload with pics of the last bit of Summer. We have only had about 2 weekends home in the last 2 months. We've been to Logan to see Clint's friends. Spent the 24th in SLC at the Beez Game and then the next day at Temple Square. We went To Wheat and Beat Days in Tremonton and a Barb-Que at my dads. Most week days have been spent at Seven Peaks or the Park. I can't wait for fall!
